How To Play Hello Kitty Online in 2024

No this is not a joke…

The following article is designed to give you instructions on how you can play the ever so once popular Hello Kitty Online, in the present day. 

To those who don’t know, HKO was shut down back in 2017 and thanks to the internet, you can still play this gem today.

You can get access by following the instructions on the this link, but I will also have a step by step walk through below.

Hello Kitty Online Client Install 

It’s very straight forward to setup, the first thing you will need to do is download the Hello Kitty Online client. You can find that here:  https://archive.org/details/pod-19902-setup

(This is the same installer I used, I assure you its safe) 

You will then need to install Flash Player… you might remember this software if you ever got bored during school.. Link here: https://gitlab.com/cleanflash/installer/-/releases

After Hello Kitty is Installed, navigate to the following file path C:\Program Files (x86)\SanrioTown\Hello Kitty Online\ and then open the following file with Notepad Leading.ini

Change the text to say http://hko.evidentfla.me:8080/single/leading.txt

Run HKO from your Desktop or Start Menu.

It will now download and update Hello Kitty Online with the latest maps and files.

You will get a 403 error , but don’t panic, this can be ignored. Just click the green tick. 

Once all of the files have finished downloading, Click Start Game and you’ll be at the login screen.

How to Register a Hello Kitty Online Account 

Now you will need to register for an account. 

Navigate to https://hko.evidentfla.me and sign in with your Discord account.

You will then be able to set a username and password.

Login with the username and password you just created
