How to Install/ Setup Hogwarts Legacy Multiplayer Mod?

As good as this game is solo, haven’t you ever wished you could experience the world of Harry Potter with friends? Well now you can and I have to say, its pretty damn impressive…
Hogwarts Legacy released in February 2023 and managed to sell 12 million units in the first two weeks of release. Despite its popularity and the clear demands for anything Harry Potter, the development team behind this title, have no desire to release any new updates or DLC.
Shocking I know.
But thankfully, the modding community got to work on day 1 of release and made a variety of Mods. Some more impressive then others. Which brings us here today, to the HogWarp multiplayer Mod.
This simple to setup Mod allows you to play on a Public or Private server with up to 30 players!
What You Will Need?

How To Install HogWarp in 2026?
The install is very straight forward. However, there are some prerequisites.
DOWNGRADE REQUIRED
As of 2026 – You will need to have a downgraded version of Hogwarts Legacy
There’s no ETA on when HogWarp will support the latest version.
THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH OTHER MODS
To Downgrade follow the below instructions in the video

ONCE DOWNGRADED, FOLLOW THE BELOW
First you will need to join the OFFICIAL HogWarp discord server, it’s required for logging onto the client.
Then you will need to manually download the HogWarp mod from the Nexus site above. DO NOT PLACE FILES IN YOUR HOGWARTS LEGACY GAME FOLDER.
Keep the zip separate
Unzip the files you downloaded and double click on the HogWarp.exe file, it will then prompt you to locate the HogWarp.exe file ( I assume everyone bought this game on steam, so navigate to this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy)
Click “Login“, a web page will ask you to then login with discord
(Make sure you have joined the official Discord first, link above)
Launch any one of your games saves
Once in game press right ctrl on your keyboard See pic below
This should then open the server list, choose anyone you want to play on.
